Driving and Writing and ... stuff

Okay, so, Kenneth and Randolph, who both got their liscenses as soon as they turned sixteen, will probably mock me, but I'm excited, regardless: I went driving today! Yes, my first time behind the wheel of a car. But it was SOOO much fun! I don't even have my permit, but I did pretty good (shhh! That's illegal!) My dad and I drove around a couple parking lots. It was amazing! Yay!
There's a writing contest that I'm entering! It's 5,000 words, in the Fantasy genre, and I have to be finished by March 1 (I told my dad that it was 5,000 pages, and I had to be finished by March 1). I've worked with several ideas, but I'm not yet sure which I'll use. Would any of you be willing to read/edit it for me before I send it in?
I'm watching Tarzan! I love that movie!
"And, Daddy, they stole my boot!"
Question: Why doesn't Tarzan have a beard?

Psych's back on! We had pineapple! I'm afraid Psych may be declining.... However, I have found a new second-favorite show (after, of course, Doctor Who). Leverage! It's AWESOME!!!

This weekend -- Wednesday-Saturday, I am going to the Life, the Universe, and Everything writing conference. Brandon Sanderson -- the author of the Alcatraz books, among other things -- is going to speak. I'm excited! I'm going with Emily Younker, we're leaving late Wednesday.

It's kind of hard to write a blog post whilst watching a movie, so I think I'm going to go now.... I shall talk at'cha' all latrez.

Captain Whitney
Listen to you two! Here we are, at the end of the universe, and you're busy ... blogging!

Congratulations on driving. It is a lot of fun! I love doing it, when i don't have to worry about to much traffic. Then it can get a little scary! I would love to read your 5000 word essay! however, i don't think i would be able to read your 5000 page essay. good luck though, what do you get if you win? Have fun at your convention. tell me how it all goes! and don't forget to send me your rough draft of your 5000 word story!

You are such a geek, dear! Really, you're going to a writing convention? I wish I hadn't just read this ... I'd've arranged my schedule so I could go. (Yeah, I'm a geek.)

You're watching Leverage? I love that show! I haven't watched any of Season 3. How far are you? I want to be Hartison when I grow up.

Of course I want you to send me your story! Good luck with your contest.

Thanks, you guys! I get published in their collection and receive $25 if I win. I'll send it to you both if ever I finish it....

I want to be Parker when I grow up! She is SO my favourite! Tee-hee!

And, yes, Randolph, I know I am a geek. "Age of the geek, baby. We rule the world!" Hartison's AWESOME!
